# Oswald Starr

> I am Oswald Starr, also known as Rick Rudi, creating original music, remixes, and performance-ready sounds with a distinct DubbStyle edge. I make music for listeners who want character, rhythm, and a fresh take on familiar energy. My work blends bold ideas with hypnotic grooves, expressive delivery, and a strong connection to the NYC creative spirit. Every track is made to stand out, build anticipation, and keep the sound moving.

- **What is my recording style?** A New York recording artist crafting and performing original music, blending vocal delivery with creative expression. Collaborating with me, you can look forward to hip hop, funk, neo soul, and R&B.
- **What is involved in creating a song?** Song creation may include developing lyrics, melodies, arrangements, performances, and recorded elements. Each part contributes to the song's identity, and thoughtful creative direction helps the pieces work together.
- **How can a music professional help develop an idea?** A music professional can help refine a concept by considering its message, mood, structure, and sound. Collaboration provides an outside perspective while keeping the artist's creative voice at the center.
- **What can I expect when working with a music professional like myself?** Look for someone whose creative approach aligns with the sound and message you want to express. Clear communication, mutual respect, and a shared understanding of the artistic direction are important foundations for productive work.
